Who are your clients?
I work with adults (18+) who are looking for help figuring out their career paths. Whether you are just beginning your career, looking to make a transition, or returning to work after time away, you've come to the right place.
Can we do both career counseling and psychotherapy at the same time?
In my practice I focus on career counseling, and if broader psychotherapy is appropriate for my clients I am happy to help with referrals and coordinate with other therapists. I find that if we try to cover too much ourselves, something tends to get neglected - it's far more helpful and productive for us to keep our work focused on the career piece. If you're not sure what you need, we can talk about it and figure it out together.
Where are you located?
I'm in Baltimore County, Maryland, but I'm currently seeing all clients virtually. I do have an office but I'm not yet sure what my plan is for returning to in-person sessions. While the majority of my clients are in Maryland, I am approved to provide services online via PSYPACT, which is an interstate agreement allowing psychologists to work with clients in certain states outside of their home state. If you reside in one of these states, please contact me to discuss this as certain regulations may vary from state to state.
When do you offer appointments?
One of the great things about online sessions is that they allow for more flexibility in scheduling. I offer appointments on weekdays (Monday-Friday) and I am often available slightly earlier in the morning and slightly later in the evening than regular business hours (Eastern time).

What are your fees?
Intake session (90-105 minutes): $325
Do you take insurance?
I do not participate with any insurance plans. Please keep in mind that insurers do not typically cover career-related services, as they do not consider our work to be directly treating an illness or disorder.
What is your cancellation policy?
48 hours' notice is requested to change or cancel a meeting. Appointments that are cancelled or changed without 48 hours' notice will be charged at the rate for a 50-minute session. Your card on file will be charged on the day we were scheduled to meet. If an intake appointment is missed without appropriate notice, that appointment will not be rescheduled.
Do all clients work directly with you?
Yes, I work directly with all of my clients 100% of the time and don't employ any contractors. My only "assistant" is my dog, Ollie, an incredibly lovable beagle/yellow lab mix who will often join my online sessions (but, truth be told, he usually sleeps through them). I can promise that he takes confidentiality very seriously.
